みんなの工場って
どんな施設？
「みんなの工場」は、SHIROの製品を製造する工場に、ショップ、カフェ、キッズスペースとラウンジなどを併設した、人と環境に配慮した循環型の施設です。
SHIROのものづくりをすべて見ていただけるよう、壁ではなくガラスで仕切り、「工場を開く」ことを実現いたしました。ショップ内のブレンダーラボでは、ご自分のオリジナルの香りを実際の工場と同じ製法でつくれる、ものづくり体験が楽しめます。
ピンネシリの山々を望みながらゆっくりと過ごせるカフェやラウンジ、子どもたちの自由な遊び場や、小さな図書館も完備しているこの場所が世界中のみんなの居場所になることを願っています。
Minnano Sunagawa Factory is a recycling-oriented facility that takes people and the environment into consideration, combining the factory where SHIRO’s products are manufactured with a shop, café, children’s place, and lounge.
To allow visitors to see all aspects of SHIRO’s craftsmanship, the factory is partitioned off with glass rather than walls, making it possible to ‘open up the factory’. In the blender lab inside the store visitors can enjoy the manufacturing experience of creating their own original fragrances using the same production process as in the real factory.
With café and lounge where you can relax while admiring the view of the Pinesiri mountains, a free playground for children and a small library, we hope this place will become a place for everyone in the world.

いつでもありのままが見える「開かれた工場」
工場エリアには研究開発室や素材の前処理室、調合室、充填室、包装室などがあります。
SHIROのものづくりをすべて見ていただけるよう、壁ではなくガラスで仕切り、「工場を開く」ことを実現し、まるで同じ空間にいるかのように感じていただけます。
普段見ることのできない生産の風景が日常となり、つくることに興味を持ってもらえたら、つくるを知ることで、ものを大切にできる気持ちが育まれたら、そういう願いを込めています。
The factory area includes Research and Development Room, Ingredient Processing Room, Formulation Room, Filling Room, and Packing Room.
To create an opportunity for visitors to witness the whole SHIRO’s manufacturing process we implemented so-called “Open Factory” by partitioning it with glass instead of walls to give visitors the feeling of presence in the same space.
We hope that the scenery of production that cannot usually be seen will become a part of daily life, and that people will become interested in creating and developing things with sense of care about resources.

ものづくり体験をしながらオリジナルの香りがつくれる「ブレンダーラボ」
ショップ内にある「ブレンダーラボ」では、お好きな容器を選び、自分で香りをブレンド。世界でひとつだけの自分だけの香り「マイフレグランス」をつくることができます。
ご予約は不要で、15分程度でおつくりいただけます。お気軽にショップスタッフへお声がけください。
At the Blender Lab in the shop, you can choose your favorite container and blend your own fragrance yourself. You can create your own unique scent “My Fragrance”, which would be the one and only product in the world.
No reservation is required, and it only takes about 15 minutes to make your own fragrance. Please feel free to ask staff in the shop for assistance.
砂川本店のみの限定フレグランス「フルーツブーケ」
砂川の地で出会ったさまざまなフルーツからインスパイアされた香り「フルーツブーケ」。フルーツの花束を抱えているようなしあわせな気分になれる香りです。
新しく作ったボトルは、フルーツブーケだけの限定デザインです。
“Fruit Bouquet” is a fragrance inspired by the various fruits encountered in Sunagawa. The fragrance makes you feel happy as if you are holding a bouquet of fruits.
The newly designed bottle is made exclusively for “Fruit Bouquet”.
カフェ
SHIRO CAFE
営業時間：11:00 - 19:00（ラストオーダー 18:30）
北海道の自然素材のおいしさをそのまま伝えるSHIRO CAFE
札幌市のイタリアンレストラン「TAKAO」の高尾僚将シェフと共に、直接生産者を訪ね、そこで見つけ出したさまざまな自然素材や、SHIROの製品に使用している素材のおいしさを料理でお伝えしていきます。
砂川本店でしか味わえない薪窯で焼きあげるピッツァもご用意しております。
Together with Chef Tomoyuki Takao of the Italian restaurant TAKAO in Sapporo, we will visit farmers directly and deliver the authentic taste of the various natural ingredients found there and those used in SHIRO’s products.
Pizza baked in a wood-fired oven is also available at the main restaurant in Sunagawa.
キッズスペース
KIDS SPACE

空中で子どもが遊べるジャングルネット
天井部分にジャングルネットを張るキッズスペースは、大人も子どもも共に過ごせるよう設計されており、それぞれの時間を安心して楽しくお過ごしいただけます。
さらに、子どもたちの遊ぶ声が響きすぎないよう、天井には店舗スタッフの古いユニフォームをアップサイクルしてつくられた吸音材を設置しています。
The kid’s space, with jungle netting on the ceiling, is designed so that both adults and children can spend time together and each can enjoy their time in peace.
In addition, to prevent the sound of children playing from echoing too loudly the ceiling has been equipped with sound-absorbing material made from store staff upcycled old uniforms.
ラウンジ
LOUNGE

みんながそれぞれの時間を自由に過ごせるラウンジ
みんながそれぞれの時間を自由に過ごせるラウンジ。ラウンジエリアには、区切りを設けない大テーブルを設置。休憩はもちろん勉強や食事など、自由にお過ごしいただけます。
壁面には、階段状のベンチと1300冊の本や雑誌が並ぶ本棚も設置。自由に読んでいただくことも、購入することも可能です。
大テーブル横の壁面棚では、SHIROの前身であるLAUREL時代のアーカイブ製品をご覧いただけます。
The lounge area has large tables with no partitions. Visitors can enjoy their time freely, not only taking a break, but also studying or eating.
There is a stepped bench and a bookshelf with 1,300 books and magazines mounted on the wall. You can freely read or buy books.
Also, on the wall shelf next to the large table visitors can browse through archived products from the era of LAUREL, the predecessor of SHIRO.
屋外環境
LANDSCAPE

そのままの自然環境を守るランドスケープ
砂川市民の皆さんと種から拾い育てた苗を植えたり、広場に自生している在来種の草を残したりと、この地にある自然と共存する屋外環境をつくっていきます。化粧品の素材処理やカフェから出る生ごみからつくった堆肥を使って土づくりにも挑戦し、畑で野菜つくりも。
施設からの排水を溜めて自然の浄化作用でより綺麗にしてから石狩川に流す浄化池も設置します。
We are creating an outdoor environment that coexists with the nature on the site by planting seeds picked up and nurtured by citizens of Sunagawa and by keeping native species of grass that growing in the plaza. They also try their hand at soil cultivation using compost made from cosmetic material processing and food waste from the cafe and grow vegetables in the surroundings.
The Purification Pond will also be installed, where wastewater from the facility will be collected and made cleaner by natural purification before being discharged into the Ishikari River.
